Launch of Japan Nationwide to Overseas Luggage Delivery Service

Starting from August 2025, international travelers visiting Japan will be able to send their luggage or purchases directly back to their overseas homes during their journey. This service aims to introduce a brand-new, “light and burden-free” travel experience in Japan.

 

The service is a collaborative initiative between eBackHome, a travel logistics tech brand from Hong Kong; SAGAWA Express Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minami-ku, Kyoto), one of Japan’s leading logistics companies; and SF Express(Headquarters: Shenzhen, China), a global leader in logistics.

 

With this service, international travelers can enjoy a more comfortable and convenient journey by shipping their luggage directly from major tourist destinations in Japan to their homes abroad.

 

Service will be available from August 2025 at multiple SAGAWA Express counters, and will gradually expand to hotels, tourist attractions, shopping areas, golf courses, and more.

Service Features

1. Send Your Luggage Anytime During Your Trip

Drop off your suitcase, shopping bags, or bulky items directly at SAGAWA counters located in major train stations, airports, and tourist areas across Japan.

 

2. Pickup Available Nationwide in Japan

Simply book via the eBackHome platform and a SAGAWA driver will collect your luggage from your hotel or a designated location for international delivery.

 

3. On-Site Packing Support

Packing materials are available at selected SAGAWA locations and partner hotels, allowing for quick packing and immediate shipment on site.

 

4. One-Stop Delivery to Asia and the World

Initially supporting shipments to Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau, the service will expand to South Korea and the United States starting August 2025.

By combining SF Express’s customs and global logistics expertise with eBackHome’s intelligent platform, the service ensures a secure and dependable shipping experience.

 

5. Continued Expansion of Service Points for Diverse Travel Scenarios

Future plans include expanding to souvenir shops, theme parks, golf courses, inns, hot spring resorts, and more—integrating the shipping service seamlessly into travelers’ itineraries.
