Prohibited Items

Due to aviation safety regulations and import/export restrictions in Overseas, the following items are not accepted for shipping.

Before mailing, please ensure that your shipment does not contain any of the prohibited items to avoid unnecessary additional fees.

Common Prohibited Items

Meat Products
Any seafood, animal products, eggs, plants, raw or cooked meat, and their derivatives, such as meat paste, minced meat, jerky, instant cup noodles, curry and instant consomme, are prohibited from shipping. This also includes perishable food items that spoil easily at room temperature, as well as dairy products. Meat-based dried foods cannot be shipped either.
Compressed Gas
Compressed gas refers to high-pressure aerosol products such as hairspray, hair treatments, facial mist, deodorants, and liquefied gas cylinders. Please check if your item is a high-pressure aerosol can. Due to aviation safety regulations, these items cannot be shipped to avoid unnecessary losses.
Tobacco & Alcohol Products
All tobacco products, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vape pens, and vape cartridges, are prohibited.
Alcoholic beverages, such as whiskey, sake, and beer, are not accepted for shipping.
Flammable Gases/Liquids

Products such as mosquito repellent, perfume, alcohol, essential oils, nail polish, paint, gasoline, engine oil, camphor oil, turpentine, thinner, glue, sun block, hair tonic, disposable pocket warmer, fireworks and firecrackers—any liquid that is flammable or can become flammable under certain conditions—cannot be shipped.

Items with a “Fire Hazard” label on the packaging cannot be shipped due to aviation safety regulations. Please check in advance to avoid losses. If necessary, we can assist in shipping via sea freight. Please contact customer service for pricing and details.

Refrigerated/Fresh Food

All overseas shipments are stored at room temperature, so frozen, refrigerated, and fresh foods may thaw or spoil upon arrival at the warehouse. We do not accept frozen goods for shipment.

Although some refrigerated and fresh food products can be shipped internationally, we regret that we cannot take responsibility for any damage or spoilage during storage or transport.

Medication

According to Hong Kong law, narcotics, prescription drugs, and therapeutic medicines cannot be imported without a permit.

Common Japanese medicines that cannot be imported into Hong Kong include:

  • Ryukakusan (throat lozenges)

  • Hisamitsu pain relief patches (prescription)

  • EVE painkillers

  • FX eye drops

  • Other similar medications

Exceptions:
Vitamins and general health supplements can be imported.

For Taiwan, cosmetic pharmaceuticals can be imported, but they must not exceed one-third of the total luggage volume per shipment.

Batteries

Any product containing batteries cannot be shipped. Including power banks and portable battery charger.

Bladed Items

Bladed Items

Regulated knives, such as daggers, industrial blades, switchblades, and single- or multi-edged knives, are prohibited. Ceramic kitchen knives also cannot be shipped.

Weapons & Imitation Weapons

Weapons, replica weapons, ammunition, controlled tools, and explosives are prohibited, including toy guns and toy knives.

Luxury & Valuable Goods

This service does not accept shipments of branded or luxury goods, coins, banknotes, paper money, securities of any kind payable to the bearer, traveler's checks, processed or unprocessed platinum, gold or silver, precious stones and other valuables.

Fragile Items

During international transportation, some collisions may be unavoidable. We recommend that you hand carry delicate items such as ceramics, glassware, and other fragile goods (including glass bottles) back home. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to fragile items, and we appreciate your understanding.

Fragile items are not eligible for declared value protection. If you require special insurance, please contact customer service in advance.

International Mail
Other Prohibited Items

Nonmailable Articles in International Mail (Universal standard)

There are items that cannot be sent via international mail according to laws and treaties.
For example, the items given below cannot be sent as an international mail throughout the world.
When sending alcoholic beverages via international mail, conditions for mail items are applied.
As for lithium batteries sent via international mail, these conditions are applied.
(Please note that the conditions differ from those applied when sending Yu-Pack for both cases.)

Please be sure that items that cannot be sent are not included in the mail item you are sending.The contents of mail items are checked through X-ray inspection after being accepted. When there is any item that cannot be sent via international mail included, the mail item may be sent back before being sent abroad.

Valuables

Valuable goods cannot be sent by EMS. Valuable goods can be sent as parcels and ordinary mail items other than EMS only as registered or insured items according to the mail item category. However, there are cases where the item cannot be sent to certain countries or an upper limit on the value is set. Please refer to the country/regional information (Japanese Version Only) for details. Dangerous goods for
air transportation

Items covered by the Dangerous Goods Regulations by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) (dangerous goods for air transportation) cannot be sent via international mail, regardless of the types of mail items or means of transportation. (Please note that the items cannot be accepted even as sea mail.)

*What are dangerous goods for air transportation

Dangerous goods for air transportation are defined by the Civil Aeronautics Act as those which may threaten the safe operation of aircraft, endanger aircraft or airport facilities, or harm the health of passengers, flight crew, or airport employees.
